29 Weeks!

How far along? 29 week, 3days

Maternity clothes? Not anything new.

Stretch marks? Not much more. A couple extensions of my stretch marks from JD.

Sleep? Have had a few rough nights! I keep Jesse awake with my tossing so sometimes I try to sleep on the couch. I have a feeling that the couch is going to be more my bed than my real bed in the next 2 1/2 months.

Best moment this week? Glucose and all the other tests came back looking good!

Miss Anything? Time. Ugg... where does it go?

Movement: Yes all the time! Baby is going crazy.

Food cravings: Not much of anything.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Have you started to show yet: Yes, people have been asking me when I'm due alot.

Gender: It's a surprise!

Labour Signs: Braxton hicks, especially when I run up the stairs at work.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? Off

 Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty moody! My poor family.

Looking forward to: Knowing if this baby is a boy or a girl!

I keep going back and forth on wither its a boy or a girl. I lean toward boy often, but then there are things that were different than when I was pregnant with JD. Like, how much this baby moves, or how uncomfortable I get sometimes, or how my back has broken out (and I've never had acne in my life!), or how CRAZY my emotions are lately.

GUESS WE WILL SEE IN JUNE! :)

26 Weeks!

How far along? 26 weeks 2 days!


Maternity clothes? Just my same jeans, 1 pair of maternity pants for work... and a belly band! Oh, and I found a really big night shirt so I don't have to keep waking up in the night with my shirt in the middle of my belly. :)

Stretch marks? A few.

Sleep: Sleep has been alright. The past 2 nights I have not been able to go back to sleep very well when I wake up to use the loo or something.

Best moment this week: Watching Jesse and JD play! Its always been cute to see a man playing with a child. But, when it's YOUR MAN, playing with YOUR CHILD, it makes life just seem amazing!

Miss Anything? Sometimes I miss caffeine still. Not that I drank a lot of it, but it was nice to have when I didn't get enough sleep.

Movement: More and more! Baby is getting stronger! I think Jesse may have felt the baby the other night.... maybe.

Food cravings: SWEETS!! I can't say no to sugar! I bought some Death by Chocolate ice cream and I have had some every night... guess I need to be more careful with what I eat!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.

Have you started to show yet: For sure!

Gender: Surprise!

Belly Button in or out? It's still far in.

Wedding rings on or off? OFF :(

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy pretty much all the time. There are my moments thought... Just ask Jesse!

Maternity clothes?

I bought a belly band! I like it a ton! I thought that it would be thicker material. It works pretty great though.

Stretch marks?
About the same, still mostly just scars from JD.

Sleep:

Have had a few rough nights! Totally got a cramp in my calf last night. :( Still hurts today.

Best moment this week:

Dr. Apt. Got to hear the heart beat again. I forgot to ask what the heart rate was... I'll have to remember next visit.

Miss Anything? 

Caffeine!

Movement:

Yes all the time! Pretty sure the baby does 500 somersaults a day!

Food cravings:

Nothing exciting!

Anything making you queasy or sick: 

Just bad food and a stomach thing. I'm pretty sure I had food poisoing last week. But, that only lasted like 15 minutes because I fell asleep and felt better in the morning. Then yesterday I must have had a stomach flu or something, maybe bad food again... I don't know?? 

Have you started to show yet:

Yeah. Its nice to look more prego than just looking more fat.

Wedding rings on or off?

I just took it off this past week. :( It still fits, for the most part, but sometimes I have to take it off (like at night). I don't want to keep taking it off and on because I'm afraid I will loose it, so I took it off for keeps. I'm wearing it on my necklace. I am wearing a larger ring for now, until it gets too small.

Looking forward to:

My hands not falling asleep in the middle of the night! That's annoying!

22 Weeks prego w/ baby D2!

How far along? 22 Weeks 2 days

Maternity clothes? I did buy some maternity clothes for work. But, other than that I'm just using bigger shirts and some maternity shirts that I had with JD (most of which are worn and ugly or don't look good on me, but that's ok. :) fpr now. ).

Stretch marks? I think there may be 2 or 3 but its hard to tell because of the old stretch mark scars (even though they are mostly faded).

Sleep: Its getting better. I still wake up a few times in the night. however I usually fall back to sleep pretty quick. There is an occasional 2-3 hour period when I can't go back to sleep and I have to wake up at 6. But, that is not very common.

Best moment this week: Feeling the baby move at least 2 times a day!

Miss Anything? Warm weather!

Movement: It is definitely moving in there!

Food cravings: Not much... wish I would though so I would have an excuse to eat yummy things!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing!

Labour Signs: I do notice braxton hicks occasionally. My uterus gets really really tight. Dr. says that is normal... muscles practicing.
Belly Button in or out? In. That thing runs deep, so I'm guessing it's not going to pop.
Wedding rings on or off? On... for now. They are getting tight though. :(

Looking forward to: Looking for a new house!!! We will see if that is in God's plans for us.

Boy or Girl?

So will baby #2 be a boy or a girl? I don't want to find out! So, unless I change my mind last minute, it will be a secret! Here are some predictions in the mean time:

-Parents.com quiz said, Its a girl!
-Chinese Lunar Calendar, Its a boy!
-Drano Test, Its a girl! Or a boy... Depends on what color you choose to believe... the test came out yellowish... well, actually it didn't change color. (Don't worry I was very careful!)
-The Mayan Tale, mothers age at conception + year of conception = odd number: boy! 
-Acne Myth, girl! Sort of anyway, I have had a little more acne, but not a lot.
-Shape of mothers face, girl! Ick! I hate how round my face is getting! Ugly!
-Cravings, Girl! I haven't had any cravings really. However, I have been eating a ton of sugar. Bad me! 
-Garlic, ??. Yeah, I'm not eating a clove of garlic! 
-The old wives tales test, 53% girl! 47% Boy!  
-Hair on legs growing faster, ??. I shave my legs every other day so that's kinda hard to tell.
-Baby's heart rate at 18 weeks, 162 girl!
-Daddy gains weight or not, boy! Jesse is not gaining weight. :-(
-Wedding ring predictor, swings in a circular motion girl!
-Carrying high or low, I'm just going to say girl! because I can still button my pants. But, I could during my whole pregnancy with JD. So this is kinda a toss up. boy!
-Mothers age at time of conception, 26 in September girl!

There is this crazy lady that says that you can predict the sex of your next child by the hair line in the back of your previous child's head... Yeah, that sounds nuts! I can't tell by JD's hair because he just got a hair cut. Another reason I think its a girl! is because the past 2 or 3 (or longer?) generations of Davolts, the male side, have had a boy first and then a girl for their second child. 
I could be mistaken but I believe Jesse's Grandma D said that Jesse's Great Grandpa Davolt had a son and then a daughter. Jesse's Grandpa had a son then a daughter. Jesse's Uncle had a son then a daughter. Jesse's Dad had a son then a daughter.

Don't tell Jesse, ITS A GIRL!! Well actually only Jesus knows right now...

Baby #2

Now that I'm almost in my second trimester I decided to post that we are expecting again! June 2nd 2012! (Which also happens to be our nephew, Nathans first birthday and it would have been my Grandpa and Grandma Hendricks' 72nd wedding anniversary.)

Thanks to Pinterest "I" had the idea to take some family pictures with a pair of empty baby shoes/boots, as the method of  breaking the good news to our families. Jesse thought it would be great to do it as a Christmas card.

It turned out pretty perfect because Jesse's side of the family, Jeff, Erin, and Jennifer, came down over Veterans Day weekend to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. So we gave them their "Christmas cards" (a bit early) on Saturday morning. The next day was Sunday and it also happened to be my dad's birthday. So, we made plans to celebrate his birthday, and also my sister-in-law, Leona's birthday as well. We handed out their "Christmas cards" during this time. Everyone seems pretty excited and I think everyone, besides Jesse, is cheering for a girl. :)
