40 Weeks with #3

So before I post the blog about Madison's birth (cause I have sooo much time to do that... not!) I need to post the last pictures I took. 40 weeks with #3! These were taken on my due date 3/11/14

Our baby: 40 Weeks

Your baby's the size of a jackfruit!
In month nine, the average fetus is about 6.2 to 9.2 pounds and measures about 18.9 to 20.19 inches (wow!). But you really won't know exactly how big your baby is until his birth.

Couldn't exactly find a jackfruit so we had to do without this time. These pictures were kinda rushed and the quality is not good... But its probably better than no pictues.

  • He's continuing to grow hair and nails.
  • And she's keeping up that lung development, too.

34 Weeks with #3

I have given up trying to get these posted on time... I'm 35 weeks right now, but these pictures are from 34 weeks. :)

Our baby: 34 Weeks

Your baby's the size of a butternut squash!
At less than two months to go, she weighs in at about 4.2 pounds to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches.

  • She's recognizing and reacting to simple songs, if you're singing them. (If you're not, start! She may find them soothing after birth.)
  • She's also urinating about a pint a day.

I didn't get any pictures with my kiddos and the squash this week :( I kinda was in a hurry and forgot.

Check out my pregnancy blog from when I was 35 Weeks with Elliott!

New home for the Davolts!!

More than 2 years ago we started looking for a new house. We were pregnant with Elliott and needed more room. Since then our needs have changed a lot! We are going from a family of 4 to a family of 6 with the new baby and my sister living with us. Well, we finally found a home that fits our needs!! I'm so excited about it! Jianna and JD will have their own room, Elliott and Madison will share. I'll give you a mini tour with pictures but we would LOVE for you to come see us and our new home!!

This is the front of the house and the side of the garage.

This is the garage. Duh!

Our front door!

This is how it looks with the front door open. To the right you see the stairs and to the left is the living room, straight ahead you see JD, the breakfast table area (to the left of the breakfast table is the kitchen but you can't see that), JD is sitting in the entry to the sun room.

The living room is to the left of the front door. I'm showing how it steps down. Be careful as you come in, the first time I came in the house I tripped here!

This is the living room! It will be the formal area where we visit with people and have small group with our Church family.

If you walk to the end of the living room and turn right you will see our formal dining room. To the right there is a doorway that goes into the kitchen.

Pretend you just walked through the front door and passed by the living room. This view of the kitchen is right after the living room. I am hoping we can eventually move the cupboards that are hanging there, to the opposite wall, next to the breakfast table area. I would like the kitchen to be opened up a little more.

On the other side of the kitchen is the sunroom. There is Elliott and her play kitchen! You would walk out this door to get to the patio and the playhouse.

Speaking of playhouse... Here it is! It even has a second level!

Alright, that was the main level to the house!! Now let's go upstairs!!

This is the view at the top of the stairs. To the left you can see a little bit if yellow, that's JDs room. Straight ahead is Elliott and Madison's room. To the right is the master bedroom. To the back right is the kids bathroom.

The kids bathroom.

This is JD's room! I had to get pictures of all the colorful walls!

This is Elliott and Madison's room!

Now let's head to the master.

I'm likening the floors! Not liking or licking, definitely not licking!

This is a view of the closets and the bathroom.

Heading into the bathroom.

(Creepy Jianna shadow!)

That is the top floor. Let's go down stairs now. The green wall you see is Jianna's room. To the left is the family room to the right is the laundry, bathroom, and exit to the garage.

This is the laundry room and exit to the garage. It's not a huge laundry room but I'm crazy excited to not have the laundry room in my kitchen!! Jiannas bathroom is to the right.

Jiannas bathroom.

Jiannas bedroom, chalk wall and everything!!

The last room we have to look at is the family room. Jesse seems to think this is going to be his man cave... We will see...

Thanks for taking the tour with me! Hope I didn't drive you crazy with strange descriptions of where everything is at. We really hope you can come by some time and see it for your self!!
