Grandpa Davolt is talking to JD (duh)

The kids found a little spot to play. This drift wood/root thingy kept them pretty entertained for quite a while.

Hi, I'm JD. I love everyone and they love me back! (Unless I'm grumpy or teething, but we don't have to talk about that right now.)

It looks so fun on the other side of the fence.

JD has to share the title of 'Cutest Little Boy' with a couple boys. This is one of them.

I think everyone had a turn keeping track of JD for a little bit. Here Grandpa is following him around while he explores.

Jesse built an amazing camp fire (one of his awesome talents).   Just perfect for roasting marshmallows. Look at those coals!!!

This was a precious moment. Such joy on their faces.

Cape Meares Lighthouse

After the cheese factory we still had a little time so we went to Cape Meares Lighthouse.

It was absolutely beautiful!!!

JD was NOT very excited to be on that bench by himself.

I just snapped the picture really quick before he tried to get off. 

JD was pointing at the seagull and I tried to get

him to say 'bird', but he never said it.

I was having some fun pretending to be a photographer... 

This would be Cape Meares Lighthouse. They wouldn't let us go to the top because someone had recently shot the windows or something. That was a little disappointing, but not enough to spoil anything.

Oregon Coast Part 1 'Tillamook Cheese'

Jesse, JD, and I went to the Oregon Coast for Jesse's family reunion!
I have a bunch of pictures here... Like a ton!!!
So I'm gonna have to do this in stages.

PART 1
July 16th 2010

We got to Tillamook a little early so we decided that
our first stop would be the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

We decided that JD needed to ride on the back for a while...
he was getting bored in the front.
JUST KIDDING!

Oh, by the way. This is Jesse's new jeep.

They are making cheese here!!!

I HAD to get some squeeeky cheese!!!! YUM!!!
